Meet The Cast

Film Reel
Glenn carroll.png

Glenn Carroll

as Zacchaeus

Playing Zacchaeus, according to Glenn, reflects his own life. He has been known to speak and state that when you think you have it all together God steps in to remind you that He alone has total control, and that God only asks for our love and devotion. Glenn knows to take a person with no acting skills and put him in a movie that speaks to his own heart can only be God, hence the title of the movie that brings this message home "The Only Way".

Tracy Fitts.png

Tracy Fitts

as Veronica

Tracy Fitts was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, where she graduated with a BSW from Wayne State University.  She is married to Todd and they have two children. Tracy previously had no acting experience and considers it a true honor to be a part of the film production “The Only Way”.  Most of all, she considers it a gift from God that she gets to share a glimpse of just how good God has been to her.  She can relate with the woman with the issue of blood and believes many women can.  What a beautiful revelation of God's character.  If we just reach out in faith to touch Jesus, He will meet us with mercy and compassion.  He will heal our wounds and call us by a new name, a Daughter of The King.

This compassion in her is used by God to bring forth healing and wholeness through the Inner Healing Prayer Ministry she leads, as well as teaching the Word of God.

Christina has previous experience performing in short skits, plays and commercials. But her experience with “The Only Way” has reminded her that God is still doing miracles today. She was amazed as she watched God bring the entire movie full circle and meet every need in the process. You will often hear her say “What a mighty God we serve”. Christina gives thanks to God for placing director Jeanne Smith in her life several years ago, as Jeanne has been a wonderful mentor in Christina’s life.

In 2001 Smitty and his wife, Jeanne, graduated from Jacksonville Theological Seminary and were ordained. That same year they volunteered in Haiti with Fishers of Men Ministry.  While there he was able to work with the worship team and a year later, they were in the studio producing their own CD.  Using his construction skills, Smitty remodeled bungalows for visiting US teams and built a stage and playground for the school. When his wife wrote the ASK play (Ask, Seek and Knock) Smitty was able to build all the props needed to carry out this drama and perform the music.  When it was decided to turn this drama into the movie, “The Only Way”, Smitty used his musical ability to write much of the music and was able to build all the sets in the studio as well as offsite.

Jeanne Smith.png

Jeanne Smith

as Hannah

Jeanne has done numerous local theater productions, including comedy, drama and musicals.  On February 18, 1995, she became a born-again Christian.  Since that date she has used her talent to form a mime troop and has written and performed in skits both at churches, prisons and outdoor events.

In 2001 Jeanne and her husband Smitty (William Smith) graduated from Jacksonville Theological Seminary and were ordained. They then felt called to the mission field in Haiti, working with Fishers of Men Ministry.  At one of the crusades, a pastor from Texas, Jerry Wolson, preached on Zacchaeus and possibly why he climbed that tree to see Jesus.  22 years later Jeanne never forgot that sermon and she wrote a one person play called “ASK” (Ask, Seek and Knock) on that subject and has performed it in numerous venues.  Along with the story and testimonies of others, she has seen many come to know the Lord.

In 2023 Jeanne and Smitty formed Catalyst Productions and collaborated with VRFILM Productions in association with CTN SWFL to produce the motion picture “The Only Way” based on the “ASK” play.
